Color Trends for Fall

While the colors that we tend to embrace as summer slips in to fall are reflected in the change of the season around us - rich golds, tawny oranges, bright crimson, deep warm browns - there's a slightly different and refreshing influence on this year's autumn palette.

According to WestPoint Home home decor experts and the Pantone Color Institute, cool blues, purples and greens have made a strong showing this year, enriching the more traditional assortment of fall shades.

A shimmering purple, offset by a rich autumnal chocolate brown and spicey orange is a perfect example. And ever popular blue holds it's own on in to fall this year - picture it paired with rich browns, creams, golds and you get the idea.

These cool autumn hues just may be here to stay!
